About Me

I'm Andrea, focused on creating designs focused on accessibility, human-centered, and narrative-based.

My research-driven approach ensures that each project is visually compelling and meets user needs. With degrees in Cognitive Science and Art Practice from UC Berkeley and a graduate degree in Interaction Design from ArtCenter, I blend empathy with research to craft story-driven designs that merge science and art. My diverse experiences have deepened my understanding of Human-System Integration (HSI) and cognition, allowing me to enhance situation awareness and optimize human-machine interfaces (HMI). I'm passionate about storytelling with the user's experience at the heart of every decision.

Hi! It's Andrea! With my undergrad degrees in Cognitive Science and Art Practice from the University of California, Berkeley, and my current graduate studies in Interaction Design from ArtCenter College of Design, I am focused on creating designs with empathy and EQ. With my drive to combine design with science, I am constantly looking for new innovative ways for story-based designs made for people.

When I'm not working on my projects, you can see me hiking, taking photos, building keyboards, traveling, eating to my heart's content, drinking bougie tea from Asia, or swimming. Feel free to reach out if you would like to chat.

Fun Fact: One of my goals this year is to make matcha every single day this year and take pictures of it to share to friends and family. With this, I have somehow convinced many friends and family to join in on the challenge.

My inspirations and interests

When I'm not working on my projects, you can see me hiking, taking photos, building keyboards, traveling, eating to my heart's content, drinking matcha/tea, running, or swimming.

Each of these hobbies provide me with diverse insights and help me empathize with others on a deeper level, whether it's watching people walk around the neighborhood or experiencing different cultures through taste buds.

Matcha

Fun Fact: One of my goals this year is to make matcha every single day this year and take pictures of it to share to friends and family. With this, I have somehow convinced many friends and family to join in on the challenge.

Below you can see a couple pictures of some matcha drinks I've made this past year, along with my cat.
